Congratulations to Blaine Blaske who finished the 2019-2020 school year with perfect attendance when the school year finished up in March. Way to go Blaine!
The Buffalo Fun Club after-school program is happy to announce the opening of enrollment to include kindergarten through 3rd grade students. This is in addition to the Pre-K and 4th through 6th graders. Enrollment forms and parent handbook including student expectations can be emailed to those interested parents, or you may pick one up in the elementary office. Numbers are limited so please be prompt with your request to linckt@usd322.org or call the school at 785-889-7101. We will be taking completed and returned forms until spots are filled.

Dealing with COVD 19 will be an ongoing issue throughout the 20-21 school year. Should you ever become concerned for your child, you do have the option to keep them home for remote learning. OHS Spirit Squad Cheer Clinic will be on Saturday, September 5 from 8:00-11:00 at the football field. Forms and payment are due by September 4th to the offices. Checks need made payable to OHS. Please ignore the September 12th date. Clinic participants will still perform on September 18 at half time of the home football game.

Big thank you to all staff, parents, and students for making it a great first day back to school. Kudos to all of our parents and caregivers who had their kids ready to wear masks and for making the changed dropoff/pickup procedures go so well. Well done everyone- looking forward to Friday!

Please remember to call the school if you have a bus message or different pick up arrangements for your child. Please call in today before 11:30. On a "normal" school day, please call in before 2:30.
On that note, please call the school or email Karen or Gayla on their school email. Please do not send text messages or Facebook messages because we may not see them in time. Thank you!
Parents and Caregivers: Please make sure to read the "Operations for All Stages with Students in the Building," section of the USD 322 Stages of Operation Plan for 20-21. It is the one that we have left on tables outside of the grade school and west main entrance for folks to pick up and the link to it can be found on the district website. We still have copies outside on tables if you want to stop and grab one.
There are some major changes you need to be aware of, including the fact that busses will be unloading and loading on the west side of the school like they used to. The car line will be on the south side of the school for drop-off and pickup. Maps are included in the document listed above as well as specific information about procedure and precautions being taken. Thank you.
