Meet the Teacher
Any JH football players who are wearing braces will want to purchase a special mouthguard specifically for braces/orthodontics. The school provided ones are not made for braces and also require the boiling process to fit. Monday morning = no helmet practice. We will distribute helmets during equip. checkout that evening. School provided mouthpieces will be sent home Monday after practice and players will want to get them fitted before Tue morning practice with helmets on. Thank you.

The school year is just around the corner, and with that comes the beginning of the new sports season. This year, in an effort to make shirt ordering for parents and student-athletes easier, the junior high will have one shirt that will encompass all sports. If you would like to order your 2023-2024 junior high athletics t-shirt, long sleeve, or hoodie for this year, follow the link below. Your orders must be placed by midnight on August 16th and should be ready to be delivered within two weeks, just in time for the first football and volleyball games. https://midwestinkco.chipply.com/onagajrhigh/store.aspx

The 2023 TVL All-League baseball team has been voted on and five Buffaloes find themselves on it, the most the program has ever had. Seniors Zac Fisher and Colby Simkins both earned 1st Team honors for the third season in a row, and sophomore Jackson Kolterman joins them on the 1st Team for his second season. Due to Covid taking away the 2020 season, these three Buffaloes have now earned 1st Team All-League honors every season that they have played. Two other Buffaloes are also on the team for the first time in their baseball careers. Senior Jeramia Dorsey and sophomore L.J. Koelzer both received votes from the league's coaches, earning them Honorable Mention All-League honors. The five players are the most of any team in the league, and cap off a record-setting season for the Onaga baseball team. To check out the stats for these players, or to see where they and the team ended up on the program's hitting and pitching all-time records, head over to the team's page on the district website, a link for which can be found below. Congratulations to Zac, Colby, Jackson, Jeramia, and L.J. on your All-League designations, and to them and the entire team on a terrific season! GO BUFFALOES!!!
