Today marks the final day of junior volleyball at Onaga for thirteen 8th graders, as they get ready for the Oregon Trail League Tournament this morning. The girls enter 5-12 on the season and will be seeded #4 in the 6-team tournament. Games get underway at 9:00am with pool play action, but the girls won't play until 10:00 am when they take on #5 seeded Axtell who the Buffaloes just beat on Thursday night. They will then turn around and play #1 seed Centralia at 11:00am. After pool play there will be a 15 minute break, then bracket play will begin. If the girls finish in the top two of their pool, they will take on one of the top two finishers from the other pool for a chance to punch their ticket to the championship game. Good luck today girls! GO BUFFALOES!!! JH VOLLEYBALL https://www.usd322.org/page/jhvolleyball

Due to Onaga hosting the TVL cross country meet next Thursday, (10/17) the following staff members will not be available for conferences at the start time for Thursday: Mr. Kufahl, Ms. Reisinger, Mrs. Claycamp, Mr. Claycamp, Mrs. Kocher, Mr. Figge, and Ms. Kolterman. These teachers should be back later in the evening around 5:30 - 6:00 for conferences. We also have a JH boy's football game on Thursday (10/17) at Clifton-Clyde. This will mean that Mr. Poell will be unavailable later in the evening for conferences that day. I apologize for any inconvenience. As always, if you need to get in touch with a staff member about your student, feel free to reach out by calling the school or sending that staff member an email. Thank you for your flexibility!

The football team led 38-0 at halftime for the third straight game, and went on to win their fourth game in a row. They are now 5-1 on the year and will visit Clifton-Clyde next Thursday for their final game of the season. Nice job on the wins last night to both of our junior high teams! GO BUFFALOES!!!
