🌟 Meet Our Tech Hero! 🌟
Yesterday was not only National IT Day, but it was also Cory Johnson’s birthday! 🎉 Let’s give a big shoutout to our incredible IT Specialist! With a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Kansas State University, where he graduated in May 2024, Cory brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for technology to our school. 💻✨
We asked Mr. Johnson a few questions, and here are his insightful answers:
Favorite Class?
“Microcomputer Systems Design.”
What’s a tech trend you think we’ll be laughing about in five years?
“Foldable phones. Is it really worth it to have a slightly bigger screen?”
If you could design a class on any tech topic, what would it be?
“I would choose a programming/engineering class focused on using technology to solve a real-world problem that the class is interested in.”
What’s your go-to tech tip that everyone should know?
“To keep your phone battery healthy, charge it to 80% and don’t let it drop below 20%. Also, try not to use your phone while it’s charging.”
Thank you for all you do, Mr. Johnson! We’re celebrating you today and every day—your hard work makes a difference!

📸✨ Meet our incredible Social Emotional MHIT Counselor, Mrs. Juley Kolterman! ✨📸
She plays a pivotal role in our elementary school, leading our daily School Family Meetings with energy and care. Each morning, she helps set a positive tone with the Pledge of Allegiance, soothing breathing exercises, and uplifting affirmation phrases.
This week’s classroom lessons were a hit! Our younger students enjoyed a delightful story about monsters who follow the rules at school, while the older students created innovative coping mechanism fortune tellers to help them manage their emotions.
Check out this picture of her mobile classroom as she travels from room to room, bringing her magic to every student. Her dedication and creativity make a world of difference in our school community. We’re so grateful for all that she does! 💖🌟
