USD 322 Statement on the School Bond Vote: USD 322 Onaga-Havensville-Wheaton would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote on November 5th. The choices we make each election day have a lasting impact on our community and we should never take for granted the right we have to make those choices. While voters chose to not pass the bond issue for the new elementary school, it does not eliminate the dire condition our elementary building is in and the need to replace it. The district will continue moving forward to do what is best for students and meet the needs of our families. Therefore, the district will promote continued dialog on this project to gain more insight from all stakeholders. We want your voice to be heard, so please be on the lookout for a survey coming in the near future to voice your opinions on the bond issue. The school is the heartbeat of a small vibrant community, and we need to continue to effectively prepare our students to be successful learners and leaders in the 21st century.
