🍞👩‍🏫 Third Graders Learn About Nutrition with SNAP-Ed! 🥗 Our third graders have been learning all about nutrition, thanks to the amazing Julene DeRouchey, SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator from Kansas State University! Over the past few weeks, she has visited our students to talk about the nutritional values of different foods, including the surprising effects of energy drinks, through the CHFFF Classroom Nutrition Lessons. One of the highlights was the hands-on "Bread in a Bag" activity, where students explored whole grains in a fun and interactive way! 🍞✨ Check out the pictures to see our budding bakers in action. A huge thank you to Mrs. DeRouchey for all the valuable lessons she’s shared with our students! #NutritionEducation #WholeGrains #HealthyChoices #SNAPEd #KansasStateUniversity #ClassroomLearning #HandsOnLearning

Families: We are seeing an increase of illness in our school. If your children are not acting themselves, have cold symptoms, a headache, or fever, please do not send them to school. Students should remain at home until they are fever free for at least 24 hours and symptoms are improved. We appreciate your partnership as we work to keep everyone healthy.
