Red Ribbon Week 2019.

Many of the seniors spent the USD 322 Community Service Day with Mrs. Labbe and Mr. Kufahl at the Onaga Historical Museum staining a walkway, painting a roof, entering data, organizing artifacts, among many other tasks. They were a tremendous help to our museum's volunteers.

Today is The Leader in Me Community Service Day at USD 322. You will see all of our children out and about serving our communities in a variety of ways. Check out this video that was shared with our students this morning before their day started: https://youtu.be/L_MWpvMm5tk

Please join us at our next public informational meeting on the bond for the new elementary building.

Tomorrow is Community Service Day! Please have your child wear tennis shoes or boots, older clothes, and dress warmly for the day of service to our communities. Thank you.

On 10-11-19 the OHS football team wiped out the Blue Valley Rams for our homecoming game with a score of 54-8! Way to go Buffaloes for working hard during the freezing weather!

NATIONAL SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK
SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION APPRECIATION DAY
National School Bus Safety Week is October 21-25. Designed to promote school bus safety, school districts throughout the state observe school bus safety week.
School Transportation Appreciation Day is October 23. At a minimum be sure to give your bus drivers, transportation coordinator, etc. an "extra thank you". What makes school transportation personnel truly great is they are one of the few groups who go above and beyond when no one is watching and expect nothing in return. "It's what they do."

Red Ribbon Week 2019 begins on Wednesday October 23rd and ends on October 31st. Be sure to show your support for keeping our community Drug Free! Please take some time to talk with your kids about the dangers of making poor choices and how to “Just Say No!!” As your choosing clothes for dressing up with the different themes for each day, let your kids know WHY they are able to dress this way this week and what each day represents. Each day is a new theme to help support Red Ribbon Week and a reminder to stay drug free. Education and Prevention are our best tools to help young people stand strong in their choice to be drug free.
