Reminder for K-3 students signed up for KRR At the Beach Summer Program that we start next Tuesday, May 28. Parents please check email for a letter with further details sent out this morning.


There will be an Onaga High School Boys Basketball Camp on May 28 and May 29. It will take place at 7pm at the high school. It is open to boys who plan on playing high school basketball for 2019-20.

Two weeks ago several representatives from Onaga went to Topeka to help represent KRR. The Governor officially signed the after school proclamation with Mrs. Glessner, Mr. Kufahl, Christy Koelzer and Becky Nider on hand for the signing.

On May 8 there was a school event called the Spring Fling. The event was sponsored by the PATHS group. They had lots of food and a silent auction. The purpose of the event was to end the school year with some fun activities and to make money for next years PATHS activities.

Did you know that May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month? If you know someone with Brain Cancer, please show them how much you appreciate them for being in your life just like I did with my Great Grandpa Jack who died from Brain Cancer in 2014. Posted by Lilly Carl.


Onaga baseball falls to Marysville 18-1 and 5-2. Tommy Kaberline hit a 2-run shot to tally the first homerun in program history. We all appreciate everyone’s help and support this season!!

PATHS is sponsoring Muffins with Mom on Monday, May 13 at 730 am in the cafeteria. Any mom, grandma, aunt, sister or any magnificent person is welcome to attend with their PreK-6th grade student.

For the OGS Field Day on Friday, the track and HS football practice field will be the locations for events. We will stay off of the main football field to avoid damaging it. Thank you.

As part of National Teacher Appreciation Week, Onaga Grade School is proud to announce Stacy Rempe was recognized as Kansas Reading Roadmap Outstanding Early Literacy Teacher for working to promote reading skills! Teachers are the heart of the educational process!

Both high school baseball and softball games have been cancelled today and will not be rescheduled.

Baseball team goes 0-2 today in Holton J.V. tournament. Next game is Tuesday in Onaga at 5pm vs Doniphan West.
