Nider

Congratulations to Konnor Nider! The senior golfer was named the MSC Sports "Athlete of the Week" this morning. The senior shot a 76 last week to win the Frankfort Invitational that was held at Cool Springs in Onaga. That score tied his career best, and it won the tournament by 3 strokes. That gave him his first tournament gold medal since the Centralia Invitational last season where he also shot a 76.

Konnor's efforts also helped the team take home the overall title, with Graham Valburg also placing 2nd, Josh Daniels placing 5th, Koy Nider tying for 11th, Maddix Blacksmith placing 13th, and Tatum Lara tying for 19th in the 34 player field. Though accurate records for Onaga High School golf dating back to its inception in 1997 are not easy to find, the team's 337 overall score is believed to be one of the best team scores in the program's history and possibly the best.

Keep up the great work, and GO BUFFALOES!!!
