Onaga School Code is 172245 for both the ACT and the SAT
Most Midwest colleges and universities, including Kansas, require enrollees to take the ACT (American College Test) which is given several times each year. The ACT also has a writing test available. Students will need to check the admission requirements to determine if the writing portion of the test is needed for the school of their choice. The Onaga High School code number required for registration is 172-245. The ACT test schedule is as follows:

The fast way to register for the test is online at www.actstudent.org. The fee of $46.00 entitles the senior to have the report sent to four colleges or agencies. A wavier is available for students with financial needs please see Mrs. Haug for more information. An additional fee is charged for late registration. If possible, seniors should make arrangements to take the test either in October or December so they have the information when filling out post-secondary applications and scholarships forms. For information on the ACT go to http://www.actstudent.org
Some students each year find it necessary to take the SAT I (Scholastic Aptitude Test I) to meet certain scholarship requirements, to apply for admission to colleges outside the Midwest region, or to gain additional test experience and scores. The registration site available for the SAT can be found at: www.sat.collegeboard.org. Once again, the registration code number for Onaga High School is 172-245. The 2016–2017 SAT test schedule can be found on the web site. Please see Mrs. Haug for additional information.
